While searching for my joy; God spoke. In trusting his timing I learned he is not the author of confusion but the leader of peace and rest. Today, I am compelled to share my story. Offer hope in troubled times. We must be courageous in Christ and realize their is a "set time" for everything. God is my joy and IN-COURAGE is my legacy. How will I lead with joy in Christ? IN-COURAGE others. It took a career earthquake for me to stop and listen.

Scorekeepers and Clockmen
Justice is back in scorekeeper mode. He now has his brother into it too. Justice on the score book. Cameron on the clock. Yes, this makes for an eventful "home" game. Justice has his possession arrow turned toward him in this Keeneville Event, he says, "the scorekeeper NEEDS to know who's "got the jump ball". Last week Grandpa Dana had to make a trip to Hibbit to get--yes--MORE score books. The ones he has are from last season--and you cant use the same ones from last year, according to Justice.
Justice is also sporting an oldy, but goody, leather Coach Keene bag this year to house all his score books. I think this is one of Papa Keenes coachings bags from the early 90's. Justice loves it. Says it makes him "official".
Also, I am praying for no power outages this basketball season. Justice has ran the batteries dead in all 5, yes 5, flashlights doing the "starting line up" in our dining room. Its actually pretty comical. He has trained Cameron to wait in the laundry room. Justice turns off the lights in the hallway and stands on our shoe bench. "Ladies and gentleman, its time for Charger basketball" Justice swings the flashlights around on the walls making all sorts of cheering noises. "As right guard, number 12, Cameron Keene...." Cameron comes running out of the laundry room in his little toddle run squealing with laughter. Justice always wants a turn too. I become MC for a few minutes and recreate my best "Tommy" from Illini West.
We were coming home from the Macomb game and Justice says, "Mom, why do we sing about caged people who cant see?" I thought, huh? "Ohhh caged can't you see, at the dawns early light." I was on the verge of crying from exhaustion from getting the Keene boys in the car and back home from the game. This changed my tears from crying to laughing in a matter of seconds! I then explained the correct words to the National Athem. :)
